The Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana RB (Red Board) Driver Shaft combines classic Diamana branding and weight class designations with cutting-edge materials and engineering. As the third profile in the newest generation, the RB offers a slightly higher launch angle than the BB, promoting ease of launch while maintaining down-field control. This classic "Red Board" profile, reminiscent of the 2nd Generation Diamana, features an active, softer tip section for enhanced feel and launch, while still incorporating the same material technology and low-torque characteristics as its lower-launching 6th Generation counterparts. Key features include 80-ton DIALEAD Pitch Fiber in the butt section for maximum stability and energy transfer, high modulus 46-ton fiber in the angle plies to lower torque without adding weight, and the Xlink Tech™ Resin System for increased shaft strength and durability. The shaft's flex profile is stiffer in the butt and middle sections and soft in the tip, contributing to its launch characteristics and overall feel.
