At 2nd Swing Golf, we work very hard to accurately rate our clubs according to our condition guide. We understand that condition is subjective, and each person has their own opinion. We have set forth a condition guide that we follow and use to rate our clubs, but the best judge of all is the photos. If you are unsure of the condition as we have rated it, you can see for yourself the condition of the item prior to purchasing.
Golf Club
Condition Guide
10 - Brand New
The club is brand new condition, and has never been used on a golf course.
Grip: Excellent condition, may or may not be in the plastic.
Shaft: No signs of bag wear, no paint chips or scratches.
Face: May have been hit indoors.
Sole: Impossible to determine if club has been hit.
Crown: Impossible to determine if club has been hit.
9.5 - Mint
Shows virtually no traces of wear and has been hit 1-3 times total. It will be difficult to determine if clubs have been used.
Grip: Excellent condition, may or may not be in the plastic.
Shaft: No signs of bag wear, no paint chips or scratches.
Face: Hit 1-3 times, could show very small traces of wear, near perfect
Sole: Potentially has slight surface scratches.
Crown: No paint chips or skymarks.
9 - Above Average
Clubs have been played less than 10 rounds and are in top of the line used condition.
Grip: Very good condition, may show small signs of use.
Shaft: May show small signs of use, no bag wear.
Face: Shows small amounts of wear common of being used 5-10 rounds.
Sole: Small amounts of surface scratches.
Crown: No skymarks or paint chips.
8 - Average
Shows signs of use, may have small imperfections.
Grip: Still in useable condition, may need to be replaced in near future.
Shaft: Shows signs of use, may have small markings or paint scratches.
Face: Shows ball markings and some surface scratches, no major marks.
Sole: Will have some surface scratches and possibly paint missing from thedecals.
Crown: May have a small skymark or a few small paint chips, still in nicely used condition.
7 - Below Average
These clubs have been well used, but not abused. These clubs offer a great value for someone who isn't as interested in cosmetics, but cares about performance.
Grip: Still in useable condition, may need to be replaced in near future.
Shaft: Shows wear and may have paint scratches or graphics worn off.
Face: A fair amount of ball marks and scratches present, nothing to affect performance.
Sole: Large amount of surface scratching and paint missing from decals.
Crown: Skymarks and/or paint chips clearly visible.
6 - Poor
These clubs show considerable wear, but are useable.
Grip: Still in useable condition, may need to be replaced in near future.
Shaft: Shows wear and may have paint scratches or graphics worn off.
Face: Large amounts of ball marks and scratches.
Sole: Heavy scratching and paint missing from decals.
Crown: Many skymarks and/or paint chips, may have dents.
10 - Brand New
The club is brand new condition, and has never been used on a golf course.

The GPS unit is in brand new condition and comes sealed in original manufacturer box along with all matching accessories and instructions. The unit comes complete with full original manufacturer warranty.
9.5 - Mint
The GPS unit was only used a handful of times and is near new in condition. The GPS unit has completed a 10-point diagnostics test and is a certified pre-owned unit. This unit may or may not come with original packaging, but does include all necessary accessories and instructions. A 30-day limited warranty from the date you register the unit is included.
9 - Above Average
The GPS unit has seen very limited use and it is in excellent condition. The GPS unit has completed a 10-point diagnostics test and is a certified pre-owned unit. The unit may show slight indications of use, but nothing that affects functionality whatsoever. This unit may or may not come with original packaging, but does include all necessary accessories and instructions. A 30-day limited warranty from the date you register the unit is included.
8 - Average
The GPS unit is in used condition, but is still fully functional and in fine working condition. The GPS unit has completed a 10-point diagnostics test and is a certified pre-owned unit. The unit may show some scratches or other signs of regular use, but nothing major. Original packaging is not included with the unit, but all necessary accessories and instructions are included. A 30-day limited warranty from the date you register the unit is included.
7 - Below Average
The GPS unit has been used many times, but is still functional. The unit may show signs of substantial use including large scratches or some cracking. Original packaging is not included with the unit, but all necessary accessories and instructions are included. This unit is sold with no warranty.
6 - Poor
The GPS unit is in non-functioning, broken condition. The unit may or may not include matching accessories (see photos of item). Original packaging and instructions are not included. These units are sold in "as is" salvage condition and do not include a warranty.
10 - Brand New
Brand New - Still in the plastic.
9.5 - Mint
Headcover is in excellent condition and difficult to distinguish from brand new.
9 - Above Average
Headcover has very little wear or marks.
8 - Average
Headcover is in the condition of normal use for a season or two - may have slight fraying, discoloration, or small tear.
7 - Below Average
Headcover has major discoloration, rips, and fraying.
All shoes sold on 2ndSwing.com will be in brand new condition. Some may not have the original box, but all will be unworn shoes.
