PING G430 Driver works its way into winner's circle
September 22, 2023
The game’s most forgiving driver has turned into one of golf’s winningest drivers as the PING G430 was in the bag for U.S. Amateur Champions Nick Dunlap and Megan Schofill, British Amateur Champions Chiara Horder and Christo Lamprecht, and U.S. Junior Amateur Champion Bryan Kim.
Add in Sahith Theegala’s win at the Fortinet Championship and it’s been a monumental end of the summer for PING’s newest driver.
The G430’s Optimized T9S+ Forged Face generates faster ball speeds for PING’s biggest distance gains to date. Spinsistency has been the G430’s calling card, with a variable roll radius creating less loft low on the face, reducing spin and as a result gaining distance.
Not only does the PING G430 feel better, but it also sounds better due to a new internal rib structure and greater stiffness of the crown, skirt and sole.
The PING G430 comes in 5 different models: the G430 Max, G430 LST and G430 SFT, along with a High Launch option for the Max and SFT models, providing versatility for golfers of all abilities. The Max and LST models also come with an adjustable 25-gram high-density tungsten backweight, allowing golfers to position the CG between three different settings: Draw, Neutral and Fade. That added versatility makes the PING G430 a great option for any golfer.
