Introducing the PING G430 MAX 10K, Blueprint S, and Blueprint T

January 09, 2024

In the first major club release of 2024, PING rolled out several exciting new products, including the G430 Max 10K Driver, the Blueprint S Irons, and the Blueprint T Irons.

Just a year after releasing the G430 series, PING has installed many of the same technological advancements into the G430 Max 10K Driver, but added some new features, making the G430 Max 10K PING’s most forgiving driver to date. Fixed weight positions the CG lower and deeper, helping the G430 Max 10K Driver achieve record-setting MOI. A Carbonfly Wrap also helps lower the CG by saving weight, and helps produce a less muted, slightly louder and more powerful sound. The G430 Max 10K Driver also features a thinner face, which is optimized for greater ball speed. With the largest head profile in any PING Driver, meeting the maximum USGA-allowable heel-toe and front-back dimensions within a 460 cc volume limit, the G430 Max 10K provides a large clubface with maximum forgiveness. The G430 Max 10K also has a High Launch build available that features an 18 gram backweight rather than a 28 gram backweight.

The Blueprint S irons feature a fully forged 8620 carbon steel head with a clean hydropearl 2.0 chrome finish. The cavity-style is present in all irons in the set, though the long irons (3-5) contain a patented precision-pocket forging, which saves 10 grams of weight, and increases forgiveness. Minimal offset and a thin top-line give the Blueprint S’s a pleasing sightline at address. The Blueprint S’s can come in three different specs: Standard, Power (stronger lofts), and Retro (weaker lofts). Combination sets have become the norm across all manufacturers, and the Blueprint S’s along with its Blueprint T relative, and the Ping i230 are all designed with the same lofts, allowing for golfers to blend their Blueprint S’s with other models for a perfect set tailored to each golfer.

Unlike the Blueprint S irons, which have a cavity-style to them, the Blueprint T Irons are more blade-like thanks to a muscle back design that’s undergone more than 50 steps. The Blueprint T Irons feature precision-milled face and grooves within a fully forged 8620 carbon steel head. Tungsten weights in the toe help boost MOI, providing more forgiveness for mishits. A shorter heel-face height provides a clean appearance at address. Add in the hydropearl 2.0 chrome finish, and the Blueprint T irons have an appealing, clean look for players.
