Keegan Bradley had to sweat it out just to see if he would play in the BMW Championship as he earned the 50th and final spot in the tournament following the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Well he won’t have to worry about making the Tour Championship after his one-stroke victory at the BMW Championship which vaulted him up to 4th place in the FedEx Cup Standings heading into the PGA Tour’s final tournament of the season.

Bradley is a Srixon staffer, but mixed in several other brands, especially at the top of his bag during his win at the BMW.

Driver: Ping G430 LST (10.5 degrees)

Shaft: Fujikura Ventus Black 6 X

Bradley starts his bag playing a PING G430 LST Driver. He plays it at 10.5 degrees with a Fujikura Ventus Black 6 X shaft in it. The LST model is the lowest spinning option of the G430 series, giving Bradley a driver with a little more distance and workability compared to other models. It was excellent for Keegan all weekend long. He averaged nearly 316 yards off the tee, which was tied for the 19th longest driving average in the tournament. While Bradley was plenty long, his accuracy off the tee was even better. He found over 73 percent of fairways, which was tied for 9th best among all players. That combination of length and accuracy helped Keegan gain 2.415 strokes on the field from off the tee, which was 10th best overall.

3-wood: TaylorMade Qi10 (16.5 degrees)

Shaft: Aldila Rogue White 130 MSI 70 TX

Moving into his fairway woods where Bradley goes with a TaylorMade Qi10 3-Wood, though he plays it up at 16.5 degrees, so it plays more like a 4-wood. This club gave him another option off the tee, and with the BMW being held in Colorado this year, the elevation only made playing a club like this more beneficial especially when needing to shape a certain shot, or play to a specific distance.

Hybrid: Callaway Apex UW (19 degrees)

Shaft:  Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX 80 TX

Bradley only plays a single fairway wood, but does opt for a utility wood, gaming the Callaway Apex UW. The Apex UW is a perfect blend between a fairway wood and hybrid, and gives Keegan plenty of versatility in the type of shot he wants to hit into a green from distance.

Irons: Srixon ZX5 Mk II (3-5) Srixon ZX7 Mk II (6-PW)

Shafts: True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100

Bradley plays a Srixon combo set for his irons. His 3-5 irons are the Srixon ZX5 MK II’s and he pairs those with some Srixon ZX7 MK II’s for his 6-PW. These clubs were the stars of the show for Bradley. He hit 53 of 72 greens in regulation, which was 2nd best in the field. That accuracy on the approach helped him gain 6.917 strokes on the field on his approach to green, which was also 2nd best for the entire tournament. Perhaps no shot stood out more than his 2nd shot on the Par 5 17th in Sunday’s final round. Bradley hit a 5 iron from 232 yards out to about 16 feet. Though he would miss the eagle, that birdie putt all but clinched the win.

Wedges: Cleveland RTX ZipCore (52-10 Mid, 58-6 Low)

Shafts: True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400

For his wedges, Bradley is a bit different than most players as he games just two wedges his bag, Cleveland RTX Zipcores for his 52 and 58 degree wedge. These wedges definitely played their part in his approach game, but they were also brilliant around the green. Bradley converted 10 of his 19 scramble opportunities, and was 2 for 5 on sand save opportunities. While that doesn’t scream brilliant, he did gain 1.861 strokes on the field around the green, which was 6th best overall. That combination of brilliance in his approach game, and great wedge play around the greens was the catalyst of his victory.

Putter: Odyssey Versa Jailbird

Grip: SuperStroke Zenergy WristLock

Bradley’s putter was one of the breakout stars a year ago, as his Odyssey Versa Jailbird was in his bag during his win at the 2023 Travelers Championship, and also in the bags of Rickie Fowler and Wyndham Clark when the three of them all won tournaments in a row with the same putter. Not only was the mallet build of the Jailbird brought back into popularity, but all of them playing the longer, counterbalance setup has since started a trend among all golfers. While this club may have been the weakest part of his bag during his win at the BMW, as he actually lost 1.693 strokes to the field, it was still good enough to give him the win. He finished 9th in Putts per GIR, averaging 1.64 putts every time found the green in regulation, but did tie for 4th in total birdies with 21, and was tied for 11th in bogeys, making just 9 over the 72 hole tournament.
