National Girls and Women in Sports Day

As we celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day, we wanted to highlight our initiatives to help grow the game of golf. For too long, the golf industry was primarily focused on the men’s game, leading to a lack of options for women golfers in terms of club fitting, club design and availability of golf apparel, which surely turned some women away from the game.  As the years have passed there has been a push to address some of these issues and we are proud to be a part of that push, and are constantly looking and finding ways in which we can make this sport we all love more inclusive.

Whether you are a highly skilled or casual golfer, everyone should be able to enjoy this great game. Our mission is to not only provide the clubs and gear for women golfers, but provide them with the best service and expert input we can to make it a game they can enjoy for the rest of their lives. 

Our expert fitting services will allow us to find clubs tailored to your swing. Whether you are just starting golf, or an avid golfer, our fitters will make sure to set you up for success. Having that little bit of input can help improve performance on the course, making every round more enjoyable. It can instill confidence into every shot you hit, helping you shoot lower scores. With a fitting, you can also save money because by using clubs tailored to your swing, you can avoid having to replace clubs that aren’t working for you and invest in clubs that will last for years!

In addition to our selection and services, we also have several women golfers as ambassadors. We work with University of Minnesota golfers Emma Carpenter and Isabella McCauley among others, who provide expert input into the gear and sport you’ll be playing through a variety of YouTube videos that focus on fitting, why certain clubs work for some golfers but not others and so much more. 

We’ve also helped support plenty of Women’s Golf Organizations with various events. Down at our store in Dallas, we hosted the Dallas LPGA Amateur Association in November for a Ladies Night where we provided their members club fittings and let them compete for prizes on the golf simulators. In December, we hosted MGA Ladies night at our Minnetonka, Minnesota store. It was a great way to get so many members engaged in the game outside of the golf season. It allowed for a fun night that featured food and drinks, building Christmas ornaments in addition to some of the golf services we provide with our club fitting and selection.

We will continue to find ways to help grow this game we love and will continue to make this sport more accessible for women.
