Rory McIlroy's Winning Clubs | 2023 Scottish Open
Rory McIlroy has long been one of the best ball-strikers in the game of golf. He assembled another world-class performance at the Scottish Open, and capped it with two brilliant long iron shots into the wind on holes 17 and 18 on Sunday that set up birdies. The birdie on the 18th, a 10 foot putt after a low-bullet 2-iron, gave McIlroy his first win of the 2023 calendar year. It also lifted McIlroy up to No. 2 in the world rankings, replacing Jon Rahm.
McIlroy joined TaylorMade's tour staff roughly five years ago. So, unsurprisingly, his bag consists of entirely TaylorMade clubs. Of note, McIlroy added two different long irons to his bag -- a TaylorMade P760 2-iron and 4-iron. He used both of these clubs to make birdies on his final two holes of the tournament and win by a shot.
Besides the P760 long irons, McIlroy's bag includes:
- TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus driver
- TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus fairway wood
- TaylorMade Rors Proto irons (5-9)
- TaylorMade Milled Grind wedges
- TaylorMade Spider X putter
