Wyndham Clark earned an emotional first PGA Tour victory on Sunday afternoon at the Wells Fargo Championship. The former Oregon Duck has been grinding on tour for five years without a win -- but several close calls. However, his game had been trending positively in 2023, finishing sixth or better in three of his previous four starts leading up to this weekend. So, despite the lack of PGA Tour wins, Clark's excellence from tee to green on his way to a dominant win was not a total surprise. His game had been trending toward a win for weeks, and it finally came together at Quail Hollow Club.

 

As a Titleist staffer, Clark's clubs consist primarily of Titleist models, including all four of his wedges his 620 CB irons, and his TSi3 driver, all of which helped him top the field in strokes gained: tee-to-green. Also worth noting is Clark modeled his putter setup, the 38-inch Odyssey Jailbird Versa, after that of Rickie Fowler, who has seen his putting return to superb form after a recent slump.
