The Callway Diablo Edge Tour fairway wood is made for better players that value control over game-improvement features from their clubs. The Tour version of this fairway wood is smaller with a more forward Center of Gravity compared to the standard version. The variable face thickness (VFT) that is used is less dramatic in the Tour model for consistency across the face. The Tour model is set up to launch lower, for a more controlled, penetrating ball flight.
