Who’s It For?

Lighter, Faster Easier. That’s the mantra for Cobra’s new AIR-X line and it’s available both in as separate AIR-X clubs or as a 12-piece set. The AIR-X 12-piece set is designed for golfers with smooth tempos looking to generate increased clubhead speed and distance, while providing more forgiveness.

The Tech Story

The AIR-X 12-piece set features the same AIR-X clubs that are sold as separate entities with the exception of a non-PVD sole. Each club features a lightweight construction, allowing for golfers to generate more clubhead speed without having to alter their tempo, and as a result provides the opportunity for increased distance. A new A.I. designed H.O.T. Face insert can be found in each club as well, with its variable thickness pattern improving forgiveness across the entire face. An offset design has been implemented into the driver, fairway wood and hybrids to help golfers hit the ball straighter, while heel based weighting further emphasizes a straighter ball flight while making each club easier to launch. The low profile irons come with greater lofts and perimeter weighting, allowing for launching the ball higher and straighter. The set also includes a premium blade putter that features a machined face for exceptional feel and control around the green. Tying the set together is a premium bag featuring a 14-way top, 9 zippered compartments, and a large insulated beverage cooler.
