The Tech Story
Callaway’s Epic Flash Star driver includes the company’s trademark Flash Face technology, which was created through the use of Artificial Intelligence, to improve ball speeds all over the clubface. The inside of the clubface features a series of ripples flowing from heel to toe that are scientifically proven to improve speed at impact. The driver also includes Callaway’s Jailbreak technology, which consists of two internal bars that connect the sole and the crown and stabilize the clubhead, placing more impact load on the face. Additionally, the Epic Flash Star driver also features a new T2C Triaxial Carbon Crown for an easier launch. The new carbon crown fabric has a tighter weave, creating additional saved weight that has been redistributed to the rest of the clubhead to lower the center of gravity. With an ultra-premium UST ATTAS Speed shaft, a lightweight Golf Pride JL00 grip, and a fixed hosel system, the Epic Flash Star driver is roughly 50 grams lighter than the standard Epic Flash driver.
