The new Callaway Rogue ST Driver line represents a significant leap for a manufacturer that continues to push the limits of metal wood technology. Callaway’s new lines include four different models, each of which is tailored to a different type of golfer. One constant among each of the Rogue ST drivers, however, is an impressive combination of speed and stability that makes it easier than ever to hit the ball long and straight. The Callaway Rogue ST Max D Driver is an extremely forgiving, draw-biased driver designed for high handicap golfers who battle a slice off the tee.
The Tech Story
Forgiveness is the name of the game for the Callaway Rogue ST Max D Driver. Equipped with the new Tungsten Speed Cartridge, which strategically places 20 grams of mass low and deep in the driver’s head. By moving the weight in this position, Callaway’s engineers have boosted the MOI of the Rogue ST Max D, which consequently has increased the overall forgiveness of the clubface. Back again in the new Rogue ST line is Callaway’s patented Jailbreak Speed Frame. The frame adds stability to the club in multiple directions, delivering more speed at impact across the entire face. Finally, a new Triaxial Carbon crown and sole reduced the weight of the Rogue ST Max D’s clubface, which was redistributed to increase launch and create a draw bias in the driver.
