Srixon ZX7 MK II Driver
Who’s It For?
Srixon continues to build momentum in the golf marketplace, adding more major champions to its tour staff and delivering superb products into the bags of golfers. New in 2023 is the MK II line, Srixon’s latest series of products designed to provide superb playability for a wide range of players. The new ZX7 MK II driver represents the model that will appeal to the tinkerers that like to use adjustable weights and an adjustable hosel to dial in the perfect launch and spin conditions.
The Tech Story
Srixon’s MK II drivers are powered by a familiar technology, the Rebound Frame, which consists of dual flex zones that create more energy transfer at impact on strikes made all over the clubface, to help golfers get more ball speed on every shot. The Star Frame Crown features a complex series of ridges and latticework that allows the driver to contain such a thin crown. This design creates discretionary weight that is positioned in unique locations to optimize each MK II driver model. For the ZX7 MK II, it also allows for the positioning of two adjustable weight slots – one in the heel, and one in the toe. These slots allow golfers to place heavier weighting in the heel ro promote a draw, or heavier weight in the toe to promote a fade. The MK II drivers also include Variable Thickness Face technology, expanding the high COR area across the whole clubface. And of course, the ZX7 MK II driver features adjustability through the hosel that allows loft and lie angle to be optimized.
