Who’s It For?

TaylorMade has always been one of the first brands that comes to mind for distance. After releasing the Original One Mini Driver in 2019 to pay homage to TaylorMade’s Original One Burner driver, the company is once again releasing a “mini” driver that features a smaller clubhead with more loft than the traditional drivers that are being released. The 300 Mini driver pays tribute to the TaylorMade original 300 series, which was an industry-defining line that launched the modern era of TaylorMade Golf. The 300 Mini Driver combines the best of a driver and a 3-wood into one club, offering more launch or control for golfers that may struggle in those areas with a driver. 

The Tech Story

Several TaylorMade technologies found elsewhere in the company’s latest golf club releases are also found in the 300 Mini Driver. The V Steel Sole, which was originally introduced in the mid-2000s and was refined and added to the SIM and SIM2 fairway woods, delivers exceptional turf interaction and low spin. The Thru-Slot Speed Pocket offers enhanced sole flexibility to create additional ball speed and improved forgiveness and shots where contact is made low on the face. Twist Face, which was introduced in the M3 and M4 clubs, corrects shots hit on the heel or toe for even more forgiveness. The 307cc clubhead and loft options of 11.5 and 13.5 degrees offer golfers the ability to play this club off the tee or off the turf.
