The Titleist 915D3 driver provides a workable, lower spin option for players that want a lower, more controllable ball flight. The 915D3 is slightly smaller at 440cc than the 915D2 and has a deeper face to manage trajectory and is full of distance and forgiveness technology. The introduction of the Active Recoil Channel, a long, wide, and deep channel in the sole of the club flexes at impact. This allows the entire face to flex at impact to decrease spin and increase ball speeds. The Radial Speed Face is a forged face insert with variable thickness to provide consistent ball speeds across the entire face. The areas near the heel and toe, in particular, have a thinner face to retain high ball speeds so you don't lose as much distance when a shot is hit off-center. When you add this to the premium stock shafts available and the SureFit hosel you get precise, consistent performance on the golf course.
