The 2006 X Hot fairway wood builds off previous X-series woods to provide golfers with a larger, hotter option that maximizes forgiveness. The 455 Carpenter steel used in the face is stronger and lighter than other stainless steels to produce faster ball speeds for increased distance. The head is larger and shallower, which allows it to be longer from heel to toe for more forgiveness with a larger Moment of Inertia.
