Cobra RAD Speed Draw Fairway Wood
Who’s It For?
Cobra Golf has been fantastic when it comes to metal woods for decades. Recently, innovations such as a CNC Milled Infinity Face and split sole rails have taken Cobra metal woods to a new level. In 2021, Cobra introduced the RAD Speed fairways featuring Radial Weighting that optimizes performance even further. The RAD Speed Draw fairway woods include added weighting in the heel to promote a draw-bias for golfers that struggle with a slice.
The Tech Story
The front-biased Radial Weighting of the Cobra RAD Speed fairway wood includes 16 grams of heel-biased weighting and a seven-gram back weight, creating a balance that provides the combination of draw bias and a high launch. Also included on the sole are Cobra’s trademark Hollow Split Rails, which help create 70 percent more flex from heel to toe for higher launch and more speed in addition to terrific turf interaction. The CNC Milled Infinity Face increases the sweet spot and therefore generates great ball speed on contact made all over the clubface. The new carbon fiber crown is 30 percent thinner and six grams lighter, which created discretionary weight that Cobra positioned forward to lower spin and increase speed.
