The Tech Story
The multi-material LST (Low Spin) design of the G440 LST Fairway Wood provides a high launch and lower spin. A new HST (High-Strength Titanium) face combines with a lightweight Ti811 body, 85g tungsten sole plate and CarbonFly Wrap crown to optimize mass distribution. This positions the CG low/back for faster ball speed with reduced spin for more distance. Ping's Free-Hosel Technology removes weight from the hosel and redistributes it to create a taller face without compromising CG height. This innovative design promotes consistent performance, even on off-center hits. The contoured sole design ensures a flush contact at address, regardless of loft or lie adjustments. The CarbonFly Wrap crown further optimizes weight distribution for enhanced forgiveness and a pleasing sound at impact. Finally, the Trajectory Tuning 2.0 adjustable hosel offers a wide range of loft and lie combinations to fine-tune ball flight, with multiple loft options to perfectly gap your set.
