This reduction in drag is due to a re-designed crown and hosel fin that promotes better airflow around the head. in order to get the most out of that increased clubhead speed, TaylorMade put in a new SpeedPocket in the sole that reduces spin as well as increases ball speeds across a greater portion of the high-strength Ni-Co 300 face.
