These fairways are designed for total performance, they excel both off the tee and into the green. The GT2 is one of two distinct models with the GT line. It offers high launch, low spin, and outstanding forgiveness. Available in five different lofts, it allows players to fine-tune their distance gaps at the top of their bag. With an inviting profile and shallow face, the GT2 is perfect for players with a sweeping delivery when using their fairway metals.
The Tech Story
The Titleist GT Fairway Metals integrate advanced technologies for superior performance. Featuring the ultra-lightweight Seamless Thermoform Crown made of a Proprietary Matrix Polymer, the crowns are about five times lighter than steel, resulting in significant weight savings while maintaining classic Titleist sound and feel. This seamless design enhances the visual appeal at address without compromising performance, with the GT2 utilizing more of this material to achieve lower and closer center of gravity (CG) for higher launch and lower spin, while the GT3's CG is deeper for higher launch with low, playable spin. The discretionary mass from the crown allows precise CG positioning, crucial for their performance gains. Both models sport a Forged L-Cup Face, crafted from resilient Forged 465 Stainless Steel, which wraps around the bottom to retain ball speed, reduce excessive spin, and enhance feel on low-face strikes. Additionally, the fairways feature Tour-inspired shaping with a flatter sole curvature, making the clubhead appear lower and increasing forgiveness on toe and heel impacts. The GT3 also has a taller face, catering to varied player preferences.
