Used Titleist TSR1 Fairway Wood
Who’s It For?
The new Titleist TSR metalwood family has been an enormous win in the 2nd Swing fitting bays already. Now, Titleist has added to the TSR family with the release of the TSR1 metals, which include the TSR1 driver, TSR1 fairway wood, and TSR1 hybrid. These clubs have been specifically engineered for players with moderate swing speeds, which is roughly 90 miles per hour or lower with the driver.
The Tech Story
According to Titleist, roughly a third of all golfers worldwide fall into this category, so the TSR1 performance is beneficial for a huge range of players. The Titleist TSR1 fairway wood is the highest launching Titleist fairway wood and designed specifically for those tricky shots off awkward lies. At 180cc, the TSR1 fairway includes a larger footprint than the TSR2, but at 20 grams lighter and with a deeper center of gravity placement to provide easier launch. Additionally, an open hosel construction further deepens the center of gravity. Overall, the MOI is 15 percent higher in the TSR1 fairway woods than the predecessor.
