Callaway’s Big Bertha products have been exceptional over the years in providing game-improvement performance for golfers that are looking for some extra forgiveness and high launch. New in 2020 is the Callaway Big Bertha B21 line, which is designed with some of Callaway’s newest innovations to drive fast ball speeds, easy launch, and supreme forgiveness. The Big Bertha B21 hybrid is a great fit for mid- to high-handicap golfers seeking better performance off the turf or off the tee in the form of an easy-to-hit hybrid.
The Tech Story
Callaway is one of the leading golf equipment manufacturers because of its impressive innovation year after year. In 2020, Callaway has advanced its Flash Face technology, designed with Artificial Intelligence, so golfers will get more ball speed with contact made all over the clubface, not just in the center. The Bertha shaping includes internal draw-bias weighting to create more optimal launch angles and fight the slice or block miss many golfers struggle with. And of course, it’s impossible to discuss Callaway hybrids nowadays without bringing up Jailbreak Technology, which has been excellent for a few years now. It consists of two internal bars that connect the sole and the crown just behind the clubface. It was first introduced in the GBB Epic driver in 2017 and has been included in almost every driver, fairway wood, and hybrid since. The center of gravity has also been optimized through added MIM’ed tungsten weighting to add launch and stability.
