Cobra Golf's Fly-Z XL Hybrid is designed and engineered to be an easy hitting and forgiving hybrid just like its driver and fairway wood counterparts. It was introduced late in the 2014 season, but it is intended to be part of the full line of releases in 2015 from Cobra Golf. It features an offset design to combat a players slice (left to right ball motion for the right handed golfer) and also offers an increase in back weighting, that will increase the Center of Gravity for a higher launching shot. A new feature introduced into all of the Cobra golf metal woods, is the Speed Channel Face, which is similar to other compression channels in regards to its ability to allow the face to flex. This innovation increases forgiveness and ball speed no matter where you strike the ball.
