There are many ways nowadays to bridge the gap in your bag from irons to fairway woods. Mizuno’s new JPX Fli Hi hybrid has been engineered to directly replace the least reliable long or mid iron in your bag. Golfers looking for easy launch and superb forgiveness at the transition from the irons to the fairway wood will gravitate towards the new Mizuno JPX Fli Hi hybrid. Now built with a larger footprint than past models, the JPX Fli Hi will deliver the high flight and stopping power all golfers demand.
The Tech Story
The new Mizuno JPX Fli Hi is designed to replace the least reliable long iron in your bag. Its new, wide footprint with updated materials generate a more playable ball flight than some of the past Fli Hi hybrid models. The clubhead shaping is progressive, as the 20-degree model is shaped more similar to a fairway wood while the 29-degree model features a tighter hybrid shape and deeper face. Upgrades in ball speed and launch have been made partially due to the new 17-4 stainless steel clubface and 431 body, while a re-engineered Wave Soleplate has expanded the sweet spot area and improves stability at impact. These hybrids include a deep center of gravity, which creates less work to generate the launch necessary to get the ball to land softly on the green.
