Used Ping G410 Hybrid
Who’s It For?
PING continues to release high-launching, forgiving hybrids that can be trusted in a variety of lies and conditions, as is the case with the new G410. A slightly larger clubhead and the 8-lobe Trajectory Tuning system help make the G410 one of PING’s most customizable and highest launching hybrids ever. It provides an excellent option for golfers struggling to bridge the gap between their fairway woods and longest iron. For golfers searching for a smaller profile and an emphasis on workability in a long-iron replacement, the G410 Crossover may be a better option.
The Tech Story
PING’s G410 hybrid offers many of the same features that are found throughout the G410 and G400 series of drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids. This club combines a maraging steel clubface attached to a 17-4 stainless steel head to produce an extremely thin and flexible impact area for higher ball speed, more distance, and a higher maximum height. The high-density tungsten weight placed deep in the sole expands perimeter weighting to the extreme to optimize launch and MOI. Furthermore, the cascading sole offers another boost to launch at impact, amplifying face flexing when engaged. PING engineers also increased the profile head by 6.5 percent compared to the G400 hybrid for increased forgiveness and appeal at address. Also included with the G410 hybrid is PING’s 8-lobe Trajectory Tuning system. The lightweight, adjustable hosel sleeve provides eight different positions for golfers to customize their trajectories through loft and lie adjustments of up to 1.5 degrees higher or lower than the neutral setting, providing versatility for the golfer in addition to the aforementioned technological advancements in the G410 hybrid.
