Used, Regular Ping G425 Hybrid
Who’s It For?
PING has always thrived when it comes to delivering consistency. Somehow, PING has improved its consistency in fairway woods and hybrids with the new G425 lineup, and the G425 hybrid is no different. The G425 hybrid will fit most golfers, offering the combination of high launch, low spin, and reliable forgiveness to help golfers bridge the gap between their irons and their fairway woods in the bag. Golfers searching for a lower-spinning and more workable option may prefer the G425 Crossover.
The Tech Story
A couple of key innovations from PING engineers power the performance in the PING G425 hybrids. Facewrap Technology consists of a thin, high-strength maraging steel face that extends into the crown and the sole. This design increases face flexing in order to produce faster ball speeds, more distance, and higher launch. Additionally, Spinsistency technology ramps up the consistency in PING G425 hybrids. To achieve this, PING made a complex face curvature that modifies the roll profile, particularly low on the face where the loft decreases by 2.5 degrees. This results in better performance, especially on popular mis-hits low on the face. The G425 hybrid includes a high-density tungsten back weight that brings the center of gravity low and back in the clubhead to offer forgiveness and high launch. Additionally, PING’s Trajectory Tuning 2.0 adjustable hosel allows for loft and lie adjustments to fine-tune launch and spin.
