Used, Senior Titleist TSR3 Hybrid
Who’s It For?
Titleist hybrids have been the most played on the PGA Tour for nearly a decade, so the release of the Titleist TSR2 hybrid and Titleist TSR3 hybrid comes with significant anticipation. Titleist has set a high standard in the hybrid category, but it appears they’ve reset the standard with the TSR family. The TSR3 hybrid is designed for players with higher swing speeds or players seeking more control over forgiveness.
The Tech Story
Each Titleist TSR hybrid features several technologies to deliver consistently fast ball speeds and smooth turf interaction. Notable in both models is the addition of sole relief pockets designed to move the club faster through all turf conditions. Less surface area on the sole leads to less friction, or less chance to grab. The TSR3 hybrid, meanwhile, feature an iron-like profile that is inspired by the successful predecessors. A reduction in offset enhances workability, to allow shot-shapers to create the shot necessary. The TSR3 hybrids also include a higher inertia body that prevents deflection and twist when playing from awkward conditions or lies. Through added adjustability and a flatter trajectory, the TSR3 hybrid is best suited for better players or perhaps players with a high ball flight needing more control.
