Tour Edge Hot Launch 4 Hybrid
Who’s It For?
The HL4 hybrids from Tour Edge are designed to provide golfers with exceptional distance and forgiveness. The various technologies that have been implemented are designed to lower the center of gravity and enhance face flexing at impact, improving both launch and forgiveness. Specifically, the HL4 hybrids will work best for mid- to high-handicap golfers in search of a high-launching, forgiving option to replace long irons in their bags.
The Tech Story
Tour Edge designed the HL4 hybrids with increased forgiveness and distance in mind. Tour Edge engineers implemented a thinner and lighter 17-4 forged steel crown, promoting faster clubhead speeds on the downswing. The redesigned clubface has been made thinner to add face flexing and distance. Additionally, Cup Face technology combines with Variable Face Thickness to produce faster ball speeds on both center and off-center contact. In keeping with the HL4 theme, Tour Edge included additional weight into the sole and the perimeter of the clubhead. This design lowers the center of gravity significantly to generate easy launch conditions.
