Who’s It For?

Callaway’s latest Star product series includes the Epic Forged Star irons, created specifically for golfers with slower or moderate swing speeds searching for added club speed and distance. The Epic Forged Star irons feature all of the premium technology packed into the Epic Forged irons in an ultra-lightweight package, allowing golfers to swing through the ball more efficiently and with a higher launch. Golfers with a faster swing speed will see more benefit from the standard Epic Forged irons.

The Tech Story

The Epic Forged Star irons combine players iron feel with extreme distance-enhancing technology. Each iron includes a high-COR face with 360 Face Cup technology, which consists of a flexible rim around the perimeter of the face that flexes and releases at impact to provide an extra speed boost at impact across the whole clubface. Suspended Tungsten Core technology has been added in a Callaway forged iron for the first time with the Epic Forged and Epic Forged Star irons. This technology suspends a MIM’d tungsten weight with urethane microspheres, promoting a controlled launch and consistent distance. The center of gravity positions have been progressively placed throughout the set to provide the ideal launch conditions for each iron. Additionally, the longer irons feature a new VFT pattern to promote spin and control on the longer shots. The stunning infinite black finish and precise shaping result in a beautiful club design that inspires confidence at address.
