New Level 902 Forged Black PVD Iron Set
Who’s It For?
New Level Golf is in its infancy as a golf manufacturer, but it came out swinging with its first batch of forged irons and wedges. The 902 Forged irons are built with a compact clubhead size and a muscle cavity, appealing to solid ball strikers that don’t want to jump all the way to a straight blade iron. Golfers searching for consistent, balanced performance and prefer a smaller footprint will enjoy the benefits the 902 Forged irons have to offer. Meanwhile, elite ball strikers in search of workability will want to look at the 623 M irons from New Level.
The Tech Story
The 902 Forged irons from New Level offer a little bit of everything for the solid ball striker: distance, forgiveness, workability, and excellent feel. The compact clubhead shape includes reduced offset and a thin topline, each of which promote workability. Meanwhile, the muscle cavity and undercut sole-slot deliver exceptional stability on off-center strikes and promote face flexing, producing more ball speed. New Level has also created an enhanced leading edge grind with a medium sole width that results in superb turf interaction and reduces digging, allowing for more crisp contact throughout the set and more forgiveness for steep attack angles. As is the case with all New Level forged irons, the 902 Forged irons are CNC milled to its final state to ensure club-to-club quality. The 902 Forged irons are available in beautiful satin or black finishes.
