The Nike Vapor Pro Combo Irons are designed to blend precision shot-making with added forgiveness, especially in the long irons. The Vapor Pro Combo long irons feature Nike's RZN cavity design, while the short irons have a muscle-cavity design that placed more mass behind the center of the face for improved stability and feel. The center of gravity is progressively placed throughout the full set: lower and deeper in the longer irons to promote a higher ball flight and add some needed forgiveness, and more neutral in the scoring clubs to provide a more controllable ball flight for shots around the green. The forged 1025 carbon steel irons feature machine milled X3X grooves that are closer together and deeper for enhanced spin control.
