Ping 2015 i Iron Set
NOW AVAILABLE !
The PING 2015 i Series irons are designed to be a player's iron that any golfer can play. These irons are made from 431 stainless steel to provide a softer feel. PING didn't stop there, however, feel is further enhanced with the inclusion of a hidden Custom Tunig Port (CTP) that stabilizes the face at impact. The 431 stainless steel's strength-to-weight ratio allows for a more forgiving, perimeter-weighted design. The combination of this perimeter weighting and a new, lower positioning of the CTP increases the club's Moment of Inertia. This is a technical way of saying the club remains square, even if the ball is struck off-center. The set make-up is designed with progressive offset with distance-oriented lengths and lofts, measuring about 0.25 inches longer and 1-degree stronger than previous i-series irons. With golfers that desire a more compact appearance at address in mind, PING has put all of this game improving technology in a head with minimal offset and a thin topline. Think the 2015 i-series irons are right for you? Talk to a 2nd Swing fitter to find the specs that are right for you.
