The Tech Story

The PING G430 irons carry on PING’s tradition of delivering forgiveness and consistency in the game-improvement iron category. With the G430 series, PING engineers achieved higher ball speeds through a new, thinner clubface that flexes more and therefore generates more energy and ball speed at impact. Also new in the PING G430 irons is the Purflex Cavity Badge, which surrounds seven flex zones that allow for less restriction and more free bending of the face for even more flexing and energy transfer at impact. Plus, the Purflex Cavity Badge also contributes to a more solid feel and pleasing sound. The center of gravity has also been lowered thanks to a slightly more compact head and a shorter hosel. Additionally, 1° of bounce has been added throughout the set for cleaner turf interaction to minimize the heavy shots.
