The higher launch trajectory is especially notable on shots hit low on the face, where TaylorMade researchers found that most iron shots are struck by 5- to 25-handicap golfers. The high launch and peak trajectory mean a steeper, softer landing and gives players the ability to go after greens from further away. With an expanded Speed Pocket and enhanced cavity badge and filler materials, the SpeedBlade irons are a step forward from their predecessors, the RocketBladez irons.
