Titleist T300 Iron Set
Who’s It For?
Titleist has long been known as one of the premier manufacturers of iron sets in the world. New to the market in August 2019 are Titleist’s T-Series irons, which include options for golfers of all experience and skill levels. The T300 irons, specifically, are designed to provide maximum forgiveness and high launch with a thicker cavity-back clubhead shape and Titleist’s new Max Impact Technology. Mid- to high-handicap golfers will benefit the most from playing the T300 irons. Those looking for an emphasis on workability and feel will prefer the T100 irons, while a golfer searching for the best of both the T100s and T300s will gravitate toward the T200s.
The Tech Story
The primary responsibility of the T300 irons is to produce distance gains for golfers. Titleist has achieved this by creating and implementing Max Impact Technology, which consists of a super thin face that is backed by a unique polymer core. This idea was developed in partnership with Titleist golf ball R&D to generate both explosive ball speeds and superb sound and feel at impact. Similar to the T100s and T200s, the T300 irons have also been progressively constructed to deliver added forgiveness where it’s needed most in the longer irons (4-iron through 7-iron). The longer irons include added tungsten weighting in the toe, which will improve performance on off-center strikes along the clubface. Meanwhile, all of the T300 irons possess a thicker topline and sole width with enhanced offset, attributes that are sure to inspire confidence at address.
