Who’s It For?

PING has been a leader in putter design and construction for decades, dating back to the original “Anser” design that has been replicated throughout the industry and remains super popular today. New at the end of 2022 is the PING 2023 putter series, which features 11 models and includes new materials and refined shaping to deliver consistent ball speeds and excellent feel. The Anser 2D model is a blade style putter that will work best for golfers with a slight arc in their putting strokes.

The Tech Story

The PING 2023 putters use a combination of premium materials and savvy construction methods to deliver consistent ball speeds, pleasing feel, and a clean appearance. The Anser 2D model includes a PEBAX insert combined with a shallow milled surround that ensures a softer feel, consistent ball speed, and pleasing acoustics. Tungsten weighting positioned in the heel and toe provides added stability and forgiveness on off-center hits. Meanwhile, the single white alignment contrasts nicely with the all-black head, while a ball-width cavity floor helps frame the ball for easier alignment. The Anser 2D includes slight toe hang and works best for golfers with a slight arc in their putting strokes.
