The new Heppler line targets golfers that prefer a firm feel at impact through a multi-material construction of cast aluminum and steel. The Heppler Piper Armlock putter is designed with a longer shaft (41.5 inches) and grip (21 inches) to suit golfers who prefer to use the armlock putting technique.
The Tech Story
While the Sigma 2 line from PING is designed for soft feel, the Heppler line offers options for golfers that prefer a more solid, firm feel at impact. The Heppler line features a multi-material design that includes cast aluminum and steel, which have been developed through a detailed casting process. PING engineers combined the lighter aluminum with steel through strategic shaping and weight placement to produce high MOI designs. Meanwhile, the contrasting colors of black and copper with vivid white alignment aids present a pleasing look at address. The PING Heppler Armlock model is designed with a 41-inch shaft, 21-inch grip, and 6 degrees of loft to fit the specs necessary for the armlock putting technique.
