Used Ping PLD Milled AllyBlue 4 Gunmetal Putter
Who’s It For?
Precision meets performance. That’s the underlying theme among the PING PLD Milled Putters. Engineered for optimal feel and feedback, the milled face promotes a consistent and controlled roll, translating into accuracy on every putt. The Ally Blue 4 is a brand new design from PING. It’s an easy-to-align mallett designed for players with a strong arc putting stroke that are seeking high MOI and forgiveness in their putts.
The Tech Story
The 2024 PING PLD Milled Ally Blue 4 putter is a new PING design and one of five PING tour-validated designs in the PLD Milled line. It’s a fully-machined, three piece mallet featuring an aluminum body, hosel and stainless steel soleplate, which helps create its high MOI. Similar to other PLD Milled designs, the PING PLD Ally Blue 4 goes through an extensive milling process, meticulously shaping every surface and radius, ensuring that the high quality and premium look is achieved. The face milling pattern consists of tour-preferred deep AMP grooves, which provide the soft feel, allowing for better precision and control on every stroke. The Ally sole plate of the Ally Blue 4 features the gunmetal finish seen on other 2024 PING Milled designs, while it has a matte-black body and hosel that contrast with the gunmetal finish. There are two new tour-inspired PP58 grip options that come with the new PLD Milled Ally Blue 4 putter. The slightly larger Tour “L” and mid-sized Tour “M”, while the current PP58 mid grip is also an option. Both of the new tour-inspired options feature a new, smoother texture.
