The 2024 PING PLD Milled Anser 2D putter is one of five PING tour-validated designs. The Anser 2D gained notoriety with Tony Finau’s success. It differentiates from the Anser model with a slightly deeper, perimeter-weighted design that features clean heel-toe ballasts to aid in alignment and a sightline in the cavity. Similar to other PLD Milled designs, the PING PLD Milled Anser 2D goes through an extensive milling process, meticulously shaping every surface and radius, ensuring that the high quality and premium look is achieved. The face milling pattern consists of tour-preferred deep AMP grooves, which provide the soft feel, allowing for better precision and control on every stroke. Compared to previous PLD Milled designs, the PING PLD Milled Anser 2D features an attractive gunmetal finish.
