The Tech Story

The 2024 PING Prodi G line, where PING’s renowned technology meets junior golfers' specific needs. The Prodi G Driver boasts a thinner Ti 6-4 face and innovative Spinsistency technology, providing faster ball speeds and greater distance. Its lower center of gravity (CG) and higher moment of inertia (MOI) ensure exceptional forgiveness, while crown turbulators, a lighter head, and a lightweight graphite shaft enhance speed in this G Series-inspired 460cc design. The 15° loft optimizes launch conditions for maximum performance. The Prodi G Irons feature a lower CG for increased ball speed and easy launch, with heel-toe weighting for forgiveness from the cast 17-4 stainless steel body. More bounce across the set improves turf interaction and solid contact, while custom-engineered lofts ensure proper spin and gapping. The head is sized for a perfect blend of playability and forgiveness. The Prodi G Fairway club makes launching the ball high and far off the turf easy, thanks to its lower CG and Spinsistency for consistent spin and longer carries from the 22° 17-4 stainless steel head. A slightly larger, lighter head increases forgiveness and ball speed, helping juniors square the face at impact. The Prodi G Hybrid, designed with juniors in mind, features a 28° loft for peak height and spin, ensuring excellent greenside performance. A lower CG generates faster ball speeds across the face, filling the crucial gap between the fairway wood and 6-iron. The Prodi G Wedges, with their tour-winning s159 wedge inspiration, offer versatility, optimized spin, and control. The 54° and 58° specialty wedges provide high-performance friction faces for enhanced spin in all conditions. The 58° wedge, with its H grind (half-moon), ensures easy execution from bunkers by providing heel relief for smooth sand play. To complete their Prodi G bag, juniors can choose between two exceptional putters: The Prodi G Anser Putter, known for its consistent performance and tour-proven design, features heel-toe weighting in its 320-gram, 17-4 stainless steel head for high forgiveness. A single alignment line aids in easy aiming, and its slight-arc stroke type allows the golfer to feel some face rotation during the stroke, building confidence for young golfers. The Prodi G Tyne H Putter, with its contemporary mid-mallet twin-fork footprint, offers a ball-width alignment aid for easy setup and aiming. This design provides perimeter weighting for increased forgiveness from the highly stable, 340-gram, 17-4 stainless steel head. Its slight-arc stroke type also helps juniors feel some face rotation during the stroke, making it ideal for younger players.
