Who’s It For?

In addition to the 2024 Phantom Mallets, Scotty Cameron introduced two new Long Design models for players seeking more stability in their stroke with a balanced, more connected feel when gripping the putter. Crafted specifically at 38 inches with stiffer, custom shafts and heavier heads, the Phantom 11 Long Design’s purpose is to help take the player’s hands out of their stroke and engage the shoulders instead for enhanced stability. The combination of the added length and increased weight, combined with a heavier, longer grip, keeps the putter in balance. With the same head shape of the new Phantom 11 and 11.5 models, the high-MOI Phantom 11 Long Design provides enhanced alignment features to complement its heavier head and custom grip and shaft build.

The Tech Story

The 2024 Phantom models utilize Scotty Cameron’s proven construction with the putter face and body made from 303 stainless steel and then blending that with a lightweight 6061 aircraft aluminum flange and sole component. This blending process allows for precise weight distribution among each putter, more precise head shaping, better alignment features and higher MOI. The 2024 Phantom line is the first to feature new dual-milled face technology, which helps deliver an even softer feel while maintaining that incredible consistent performance the Phantom putters have become to be known for. The Long Design Models feature interchangeable 25-gram tungsten sole weights in addition to a custom 17-inch 128 gram grip, allowing for softer grip pressure and controlled hand movement with more weight to counterbalance the increased weight of the putter head. They feature the stiffer, longer version of Scotty’s mid-bend shaft which also helps accommodate the heavier head weight of the Phantom 11 Long Design.
