The Tech Story

The Titleist Scotty Cameron 2025 Studio Style Squareback 2 Long Design putter is a specialized, 38-inch model designed to promote a smoother, more stable putting stroke by quieting the hands and engaging the shoulders. Sharing the angular alignment features and tour-inspired I-beam plumbing neck of the standard Squareback 2, this Long Design version incorporates the new Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) face insert for a soft feel. The added length and heavier head weight, precision milled from 303 stainless steel, are counterbalanced by a custom-designed 17-inch, 136-gram pistol-style grip and a stiffer, longer shaft. This combination allows for adjustments in stance, setup, and grip style. The integrated 6061 aluminum sole plate, along with two 25-gram tungsten sole weights, increases MOI and perimeter weighting for enhanced stability and forgiveness. The I-beam plumbing neck provides one shaft of offset.
