For decades, Scotty’s exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful artistry have delivered superb performance for golfers all over the world and at all levels of competition. New in the 2023 is the Super Select putter series, which builds on the tour-proven success of the 2020 Special Select series. With the Super Select line, Scotty has pushed his blade and mid-mallet designs even further with better performance, new milling techniques, refined shapes, improved multi-material construction and cutting-edge weight distribution to deliver a Select line superior to any before it. The Super Select Newport model features medium toe flow that will work best for golfers with mild arc in their putting strokes.

The Tech Story

The Super Select putter series is based largely on feedback from the best players in the world. Adhering to that feedback, Scotty used new milling methods, updated multi-material constructions, and re-vamped neck styles. The new dual-milled face milling technology takes sound, feel and feedback to a new level, combining the softness revered in previously released deep-milled putters with the feedback, consistency and roll of Scotty’s more recent mid-milled offerings. Meanwhile, the new “I-beam” neck design not only provides a more futuristic look, but also allows for weight savings that are repositioned in the heel and toe for better performance. Each model also includes precision sole weighting that can be adjusted and customized for your putting stroke. Precision milled from 303 stainless steel, the Newport model includes the new I-beam plumbing neck combined with the model’s distinctive rounded features and a dual-milled face texture. With adjustable performance sole weights milled from raw tungsten, this putter has a solid face and a misted stainless steel finish. With medium toe flow, the Newport will work best for golfers with mild arc in their putting strokes.
