This mixed iron set replaces traditionally hard to hit long irons with hybrids to maintain distance but increase forgiveness. The 5-7-irons have a hollowed back design allowing the Center of Gravity to be low and away from the face to yield high shots with low spin, maximizing distance. The short irons sport a cavity back design and shape in order to increase forgiveness but maintain the look and feel most players want. In 2007 these irons got up to a Gold rating on Golf Digest's Hot List.
