Who’s It For?

New Level Golf is in its infancy as a golf manufacturer, but it came out swinging with its first batch of forged irons and wedges. New Level’s first utility iron model is the 4995 HB (hollow back), designed to help golfers fill the gap between fairway woods and long irons in the bag. These utility irons feature a traditional look and shape that was built from a forged construction to allow them to blend into any set of players irons. Golfers searching for a workable long-iron replacement will enjoy the 4995 HB.

The Tech Story

While New Level’s iron sets are all created through a one-piece forging process, the utility irons do feature two pieces to provide added distance and forgiveness. The 4995 HBs are made of a hollow 304 stainless steel body that is laser-welded to a CS455 clubface, a design that delivers optimal weight distribution and face flexing to improve performance on swings from those tricky long-iron distances. Additionally, the carbon steel clubface offers the soft feel found in one-piece forged irons. The combination of stainless and steel and carbon steel allowed New Level to maintain the lowest center of gravity possible, as there is no wasted mass above the equator of the clubhead, as there is in many other two-piece designs. The low center of gravity and hollow body design each add forgiveness, while the traditional shaping and carbon steel clubface provide workability desired by consistent ball strikers. The 4995 HBs are available in beautiful satin or black finishes.
