Who’s It For?
Srixon has made significant leaps in the golf marketplace over the last few years, especially when it comes to irons. New in 2023 is the ZX MK II iron family from Srixon, designed to provide a clean, pleasing aesthetic paired with exceptional performance for all skill levels. The Srixon ZX MK II utility irons perform as long iron replacements and include a boost of distance and forgiveness for players who may be searching for a club to bridge the gap between irons and fairway woods in the bag.
The Tech Story
The new Srixon ZX MK II utility irons offer more long-game power, control, and forgiveness in a compact shape to a wide range of players. The MainFrame is a variable face thickness pattern of grooves, channels, and cavities that is carefully milled into the backside of the iron face in order to maximize face flexing at impact, promoting high ball speeds. The utility iron bodies include a wide sole width, long blade length, and minimal offset to maximize forgiveness. The forged, multi-piece construction features a forged SUP10 clubface that is strong, yet light, while a forged 1020 carbon steel body absorbs vibrations for a soft feel. Additionally, sole notches on the heel and toe sides lessen drag to help golfers gain clubhead speed through the turf for improved versatility.
