Who’s It For?

The StingRay wedge from Indi golf is designed for maximum spin by exceeding the performance limits outlined in the rules of golf to help more casual golfers improve their spin and control around the greens. Golfers that do not compete in sanctioned events that want a little help controlling the golf ball around the greens will enjoy the StingRay wedge. The ATK grind offers higher bounce for golfers with a steeper angle of attack or golfers that play in softer turf conditions, while the FLX grind offers lower bounce and is optimized for each loft.

The Tech Story

The StingRay wedge includes several innovations that help produce incredible spin on the golf ball. ScoopBack technology on the clubface allows off-center hits to feel better and fly straighter with more spin. TractionFace creates more grip between the ball and the clubface which not only creates more spin, but it also generates a lower, more controlled ball flight because the ball will not slide up the clubface. The Optimized Bounce angles on all loft options are designed to offer more forgiveness and better turf interaction. Meanwhile, the hosel has been shortened to create discretionary weight that has been relocated to higher in the clubface and more towards the toe.
