The shorters irons have a CG placement designed to produce a controllable, penetrating flight with great stopping power on the green. These irons were made with workabilility and shot control in mind. The thicker face is very responsive, letting you know what kind of contact has been made, though the CTP and stability bars will minimize the penalty and help keep distance consistent. The toe weighting keeps MOI high and adds forgiveness.
