The Tech Story

The new TaylorMade Hi-Toe 4 Wedge is engineered for confident shot-making, consistent spin, all-terrain versatility, and precision performance. Its larger face shape, expanded toe area, and full-face grooves inspire confidence from all lies, while the strategically positioned center of gravity (CG) promotes a low launch, high spin shot trajectory. The RAW face, enhanced with Spin Tread technology, features laser etching to channel away moisture, maintaining spin in wet conditions by creating more friction between the club face and the ball. Offered in five distinct grind options, the Hi-Toe 4 Wedge caters to a wide range of conditions and swing types, from versatile low-bounce designs to high-bounce options. Crafted from soft 8620 carbon steel, the Milled Grind sole ensures precise sole geometry, eliminating human error for unmatched consistency and craftsmanship with reliable, repeatable results.

ATS: An increased 4-way camber is a staple in this sole design providing versatility for manufacturing shots with an open or closed face. Designed for all turfs and all swing types.

ATV: A unique asymmetric bounce and concave sole create a multifunctional design for crisp, clean contact off tight lies while playing with more effective bounce in the open face position for all around versatility. Designed for Firm to Neutral turf conditions and shallow to neutral swing types. 

ATX: One of TaylorMade’s most forgiving sole designs using a 3 surface sole that plays with mid range bounce. The leading edge prevents digging in softer conditions, while the mid sole ensures stability and an aggressive trailing edge creates a quick exit from the turf. Designed for all turf conditions and Neutral to Steep Swing Types. 

ATC: A low bounce wedge packed with versatility. A narrow split sole design with a low leading edge, and healthy heel/ toe relief. Designed for Firm turf conditions and Shallow Swing Types. 

ATW: Wide sole designed with a high effective bounce. It is designed to inspire confidence and provide maximum forgiveness, especially out of soft conditions and bunkers. Designed for Soft turf conditions and Steep Swing Types.
