Renowned master craftsman Bob Vokey continues to leave his mark on the golf wedge landscape with the introduction of the Titleist Vokey Design SM10 wedges. A name synonymous with excellence in wedges, Bob Vokey's latest creation aims to cater to a broad spectrum of golfers. These wedges have quickly become the top choice among professionals and amateurs alike. The Vokey Design SM10 series is designed to deliver a lower, more controlled flight, enhanced feel, and maximum spin. With six different tour-proven sole grinds (F, S, M, K, T, and D), a new for 2025 low-bounce K grind, and a total of 25 unique loft, bounce, and grind combinations, the SM10 wedges offer shot versatility for every type of player.
The Tech Story
The Vokey SM10 wedges incorporate cutting-edge technology aimed at enhancing players' wedge performance. Aligned with Bob Vokey's three principles for exceptional wedge play, these clubs offer shot versatility through six unique sole grinds, catering to various swing types and course conditions, enabling golfers to optimize their wedge setup for improved turf interaction and contact. Furthermore, SM10 wedges feature a progressive center of gravity placement throughout the lofts, ensuring precise distance and trajectory control. This results in a lower, more controlled trajectory, solid feel, and tighter dispersion across all loft options. The Spin Milled groove cutting process has been refined to deliver higher and more consistent spin. Each TX9 groove is individually cut based on loft and finish, enhancing overall spin performance. Plus, micro-textures between grooves maximize spin on partial shots, and a high-frequency heat treatment is applied to improve groove durability. The Titleist Vokey Design SM10 wedges are offered in three finishes: Tour Chrome, Jet Black, and a Nickel finish, with a Raw finish also available through custom order.
Facts and Figures
T Grind: A low bounce option with maximum heel, toe and trailing edge relief that allows for ultimate greenside versatility
F Grind: All-purpose grind particularly suited for full shots and shots hit with a square face. Ideal for players who prefer a traditional wedge sole.
M Grind: Voke’s favorite, designed for players that like to rotate the club face open and closed to manufacture shots around the green. Ideal for players with a shallower, more sweeping swing type who play shots from a variety of clubface positions.
S Grind: A full sole that has been narrowed by a trailing edge grind, giving it a faster feel through the turf. This grind is best for neutral to firm conditions and for players that like to control loft with their hands ahead or behind the ball.
D Grind: Blends versatility from a heel, toe, and trailing edge grind and forgiveness with its high measured bounce. Ideal for players with a steeper angle of attack who play shots from a variety of clubface positions.
K Grind (High Bounce): The highest bounce wedge in the lineup and is the ultimate bunker club. A wide, full sole wedge with enhanced camber, the K Grind is forgiving from a variety of softer sand and turf conditions.
New K Grind (Low Bounce): Offers the greenside versatility of a low bounce lob wedge with the added forgiveness of a wide K Grind sole. Particularly geared towards players with shallower deliveries, or those who play on firmer turf conditions, yet still benefit from the performance of a wider sole.
